£33,500 + commission

As the Sales / New Business manager, the selected candidate will play a critical role in driving growth and expanding the company’s market footprint. This position involves both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in client engagement, sales development, and relationship management.

The individual will represent the company to key stakeholders and contribute to achieving revenue targets while supporting long-term business development initiatives.

Remuneration and Benefits

The role offers a competitive and attractive compensation package, including performance incentives, 4% commission on any sales they bring in solely, and twenty paid holidays throughout the year. Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager/Business Development Lead’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service, building long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Sales Leadership and Strategy: Lead the development and execution of sales strategies, including prospecting, client meetings, and sales presentations. Set and drive revenue targets and sales KPIs for the team.
  • Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, target key markets, and develop strategies to acquire new clients. Expand the company’s presence in existing markets and explore new verticals for growth.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the sales team to ensure performance targets are met. Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales environment, providing training and support for career development.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership and the board to align business development strategies with the company’s broader objectives. Contribute to strategic planning and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Operational Optimization: Take a hands-on approach to the day-to-day management of sales operations, ensuring smooth workflows, process improvements, and continuous tracking of performance metrics.
