Pay Rate: £11.59 per hour

Hours: Part time, 3 days per week (The role can be worked flexibly with a mixture of home and office working)

Acorn by Synergie is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a modern, fast growing, and progressive accountancy practice based in Bideford.

The responsibility within the role covers the payroll process from start to finish, monitoring the flow of information to ensure the client has the correct data, processing the payroll information, providing the client with the required reports, closing the pay run for each period and producing payslips, and any associated workplace pension requirements

Job Duties:

  • Processing Payrolls
  • Data entry
  • RTI FPS submissions
  • Producing required reports, payslips, P45s, pension files etc
  • Supporting the team leader and other colleagues
  • Year end processing
  • Liaising with clients to answer queries and ensure correct data

Person Specification:

  • Experience within a payroll environment
  • Knowledge of Payroll Bureau or SAGE
  • Good IT skills
  • Great communication
