Mechanical Contract Manager

HAYS are recruiting on behalf of a well-established M&E Contractor delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and renewable services across the South of England. Their clientele includes Main Contractors as well as public and private sector clients in the commercial, industrial, and large-scale domestic markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage mechanical contracts from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate with the project team to develop and implement project plans.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience managing mechanical contracts within the M&E building services sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and renewable services.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
