Part-time Office Assistant
We are a small friendly company and are looking to welcome someone to join our Administration team at Microtech Services (Wessex) Ltd.
The hours for this position are 8.30am - 4.30pm - 2 days per week (usually Thursday and Friday) but with the opportunity to increase to additional hours.
The duties are: Perform clerical duties including answering phone calls.
Prepare client reports and invoices.Respond to emails.
Dealing with new Customer enquiries.
Handling both incoming and outgoing mail and packing parcels for sending away.
Assist in organising and maintaining files and records.
Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
Our requirements are: Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role.
All applicants must have GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths with excellent numeracy skills.Previous experience with office software applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to type accurately and efficiently is essential along with good concentration and attention to detail.
Excellent spoken and written English is absolutely essential.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Previous Book keeping experience would be an advantage as would knowledge of Quickbooks although not essential as full training will be given.
