Job Duties:
- Oversee the daily operation of the nursery
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents and families
- Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and record-keeping
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 practitioner qualification
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of early years education and development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Education:
Level 3 childcare/practitioner qualification
Experience:
Previous managerial experience in a nursery setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of early years education and development
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage staff and maintain a positive work environment
Working Conditions:
Work in a nursery setting, potentially involving long hours and interaction with children and their families. Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job.
