Full-time Locum Consultant Paediatrician with a responsibility in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is available for immediate start and will run until August 2025. It is anticipated that a substantive post will be advertised in early 2025.

This post is a 10 PA locum Consultant Paediatric Respiratory Paediatrician post to be an integral part of the PRM team. This will allow the service to move to a clinic free acute service week model. The Job plan will be finalised in discussion with the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will join a team of 5 Consultants. The post will involve inpatient service weeks (inc LTV), general respiratory, LTV, asthma and CF clinics and complex sleep work. Depending on the skills of the appointee there is potential to contribute to or develop skills in bronchoscopy.

Any consultant who is unable, for personal reasons, to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post on a part-time basis; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.

This service provided by Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, Specialty is provided across both campuses, but your primary base is Queens Medical Centre
