The Sales Team

The ESG Book Sales team is responsible for communicating ESG Book's products to interested parties. We originate new opportunities and develop existing relationships with clients and our strategic partners. Our clients include Financial Institutions, Consultants and Corporates.

To be effective we must understand the mechanics of our product offerings in depth and effectively communicate this to interested parties. We hire individuals who are passionate about sustainability and who bring an entrepreneurial mindset. We look to think outside the box and value creativity and initiative.

Requirements

The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account / Client Success Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning and client relationship management. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive growth, foster client satisfaction, and develop long-term partnerships.

As a member of our international sales team, you will report to the VP of Sales You should be a strategic thinker with relevant experience to effectively represent our organization in numerous counterpart relationships. Moreover, you will:

  1. Design, implement, and refine scalable end-to-end processes that ensure exceptional client onboarding and continuous success, laying the groundwork for future team expansion.
  2. Oversee all stages of the client lifecycle post-closing, ensuring consistent engagement from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
  3. Develop and implement tailored account strategies focused on expanding our business.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of clients' ESG priorities, challenges, and goals. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  5. Support business development efforts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  6. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  7. Gather and analyse client feedback to continuously improve the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  8. Proactively manage client accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring our services consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
  9. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and client services, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  10. Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization
  11. Advocate for the value of our solutions, ensuring clients fully understand and leverage the benefits of our products.
  12. Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by continuously promoting a superior customer experience across all touchpoints.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in financial markets or in a client-facing role with demonstrated experience in selling and contract negotiations
  • Proven work experience as a Client Success Manager or similar role
  • Higher economic education with a bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
  • Candidates with experience with financial institutions, especially with banks, and having the knowledge of ESG, will be given priority.

Skills:

  • Ability to think critically and strategically to develop and implement effective client success strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through strategic account management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
