Job Opportunity: Operational Support Officer for Cardiology and Gastroenterology

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to lead our administrative teams for Cardiology and Gastroenterology. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who is passionate about people management and service excellence.

Position Overview:As the Operational Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing teams of Patient Pathway Coordinators, Clinical Typists, and Records Assistants. You will oversee daily performance management to ensure key targets are met, and provide support to team members through sickness periods, training, development, and appraisals.

This role requires a hands-on approach to both people management and the day-to-day administration of essential healthcare services.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of two vital departments within our hospital services. You will have the chance to lead a dedicated team, make a difference in patient care, and grow within a supportive environment.
