Job Description- Developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies.
- Managing and fostering relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Head up the FM and tech/IT categories and have full ownership
- Overseeing the procurement process, from the initial identification of requirements to the final delivery of goods/services.
- Ensuring the Procurement & Supply Chain department delivers a high level of internal customer service.
- Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Identifying opportunities to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Managing and developing a team of procurement professionals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement & Supply Chain or a related field.
- Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the professional services industry.
- Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- A thorough understanding of procurement processes and legalities.
