About Our Client
My client is a well-established University who are looking for a Banner Technical Administrator. You will be responsible for implementing the student information system which will support the University's management of the student lifecycle from application through to award.This role will be responsible for carrying out development or configuration work required to meet the business requirements of the University.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Banner Analysis, Design and Configuration and SaaS Safe Development
- Gathering and analysis of business requirements
- Interpretation of design workflows into working processes implementing established standards
- Creation, design and maintenance of workflow applications and processes that are aligned to and delivered in a SaaS safe development practices.
- Document all work in accordance with agreed standards to enable other system administrators to understand the function of the workflow
- Perform testing to ensure the work item meets expected requirements and specification.
- Manage and resolve issues arising from testing to ensure the work item meets expected requirements and specification.
- Advise the Project Manager of any deviations from plan, recommend corrective action and help prepare any appropriate exception plans
- Ensure all project issues are reported using the RAID log
- Ensure that all risks associated with the work packages assigned to you are identified and entered in the RAID log and mitigate any risks assigned to you by the Project Manager
- Ensure that all dependencies are identified and entered in the RAID log, and advise the Project Manager when dependencies are impacting your ability to complete your work
- Prepare products for User Acceptance Testing including initial functional testing.
- Ensure that quality controls are applied correctly.
- Experience as a superuser or technical administrator of the Ellucian Banner SaaS platform.
- Significant, demonstrable, experience of developing Workflow and Experience applications for large SIS or Software as a Service implementations.
- Experience of software development in a cross functional team environment.
- Designing and Developing workflows using workflow tools
- Ability to work in line with both corporate strategic objectives, and project objectives and to work effectively within the structure of a formal project management environment.
- Ability to manage all interactions in a professional manner using sensitivity, diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to work to agreed schedules and plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and willingness to work within a skill sharing environment, including a commitment to developing own competencies.

- £350-£450 Per Day
- 3-6 months contract
