Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Graduate to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Levenshulme. This full-time role begins in March and continues until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging science lessons across a variety of topics, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help students who require additional support to meet their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and learning materials for students with diverse needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Encourage a love for science and inspire curiosity in students through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Support students during practical experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed and enhancing their hands-on learning experience.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and helping to implement improvement strategies.
  • Assist in exam preparation by leading revision sessions and helping students with study techniques.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Participate in school activities and events, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
