We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Construction Health and Safety Advisor to join our team and support our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering a safety-first culture among our workforce and ensuring their well-being onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert health and safety advice and support to project teams across sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver health and safety training and workshops to promote awareness among employees.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Work collaboratively with site management to create safe systems of work.
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance metrics and contribute to health and safety reports.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices relevant to the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety policies.
• NEBOSH / Construction General Certificate or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating incidents and generating detailed reports.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
