We are looking to recruit a teaching professional who is truly passionate about teaching Science. We are looking for someone who wants to inspire, who is committed to developing students; someone who is excited by learning and has a desire to develop a career within an ambitious Multi-Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and driven by the desire to deliver outstanding Teaching and Learning.

The Science department at Colne Valley High School has an ambitious, bespoke curriculum that builds from Years 7 to 11, and teachers in the department are highly reflective and responsive. Staff are empowered to teach to the best of their ability with shared resources and planning.

This is an exciting time for the right practitioner to add capacity to the team as soon as they are available.

You will have:

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • The ability to teach to GCSE standard.
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
