Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client, a highly reputable international TV production firm, based in central London are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team.

This is a new position, due to continued growth, and will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and other 3 members of the team. This is a key position in the business taking control of the Purchase Ledger function for various TV Productions.

The role will suit someone ambitious who is looking to work in a dynamic environment and who has at least 1 years' experience processing invoices & expenses and is an excellent communicator.

This is a permanent role paying £30,000 + excellent benefits

Job Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Clerk

Day to day duties.
  • Management of the Accounts Payable Inbox
  • Processing invoices, matching to PO numbers and inputting/coding into Accounting software
  • Setting up new client on Sage software and maintaining client records
  • Dealing with client invoice queries
  • Dealing with staff queries/ payment queries
  • Reconciliation of statements
  • Processing credit card expense claims
  • Cash processing
  • Reconciliation of Vat receipts & inputting to Sage
  • Helping staff with any expense queries
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Reconciling & compiling various reports.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities
Person experience
  • Accounts Payable experience- highly desirable
  • At least 6-12 months accounts payable experience - desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
