An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a highly reputable and growing secondary school in Ipswich. The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably qualified candidates. They will be expected to inspire and challenge students, fostering a love for Science and encouraging academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver outstanding lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider Science department and school community.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic standards.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a Science-related subject.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student development.
- A passion for Science education and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.
