About Our Client

Since opening in the 80s, our client has developed deep local ties helping a wide array of clients in a truly tailored and constructive approach to accounting, they cover many areas some of which include: preparation of tax returns, payroll advice and procedures, self assessments and business planning amongst and many more.

• Prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Manage and maintain the financial ledger.
• Perform budgeting tasks and variance analyses.
• Handle billing activities, including invoicing and account receivables.
• Conduct payroll functions and ensure timely payments.
• Comply with the industry's legal requirements and uphold the company's financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and refine budgeting processes.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
• ACCA or ACA full certification
• Proven experience as an Accountant in the professional services industry (must have been within the UK!)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (UK).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

• An estimated salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 (GBP), based on skills and experience.
