Mental Health Support Worker

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Mental Health support workers, to work in one of our partnerships SEMH setting within Wigan . The role is full time Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm working with several students on a small group basis with a teacher.

Interviews are to be held with the Education manager as soon as possible as the SEMH Setting would like person to start as soon as possible initially for 3 months with the view to be extended or go permanent.

The SEMH setting caters for pupils from 8 - 18 years they require a support worker who has worked with Mental Health within Primary and Secondary aged children.

Pay £12.82 - £15.71 per day

As a Support Worker the ability to engage and build rapport using your understanding of Mental Health and support background is essential. As a person-centred Support Worker, you will be a dynamic, forward thinking, and pro-active team player, with passion and commitment to holistically supporting the vulnerable a pupil.

The SEMH setting is easily accessible with close links to the motorway and a large free car park. The school is close to public transport links with bus stop 5 minutes' walk from the school.
