Packer
Autajon Labels Royston: We are an award-winning label printing company, established in 1984 as Royston Labels Ltd, and joined the Autajon Group in 2023. As a growing business, we pride ourselves on developing high-end, top-quality labels for our well-known clients in the Cosmetics & Toiletries, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma industries.We use our in-depth knowledge of traditional & digital print technologies, and combine this with innovative embellishments, as well as incorporating sustainability as a priority focus in our entire process. Based in Royston, near Cambridge, and with a team of 70 employees, we always aim to provide a quality service, and provide the skills, craftmanship & care required in every part of our manufacturing process to make beautiful, impactful labels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be joining the Finishing Team of 10 people, which includes Rewinding, Packing and Despatch. You will report to the Finishing Supervisor, who overseas the entire department.
As a Packer, you will be able to:
- Pack labels to the required standards
- Assist with despatching finished goods in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Sort job bags and return to the Customer Services team
- Shrink rolls of labels
- Assist the Rewind department with projects, trials, and rework
- Pallet wrap finished goods
- Assist Despatch with picking off stock
- Assist and support with the required Stocktakes
- Provide cover for the Despatch Assistant as and when required
- Complete folding jobs using the folding machine
- Cut cores for the Rewind Team
- Work accordingly to Company Health and Safety practises
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Work within the remit of ISO9000, ISO9001, and BRC
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is required. We would ensure you are fully inducted and supported throughout your role, and are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and efficient individuals.

- Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week, 08:00 - 16:30 (No weekends, or Bank Holidays)
