SALARY: £45,954.00 - £51,060 (salary may vary according to experience)
LOCATION(S): Leeds
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

The Treasury Reporting and Analytics team sits within Group Corporate Treasury made up of around 100 colleagues based in London and West Yorkshire. The Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book Modelling and Reporting team is responsible for the provision of modelling the divisional balance sheet and providing insight for internal and regulatory stress tests.Our team plays a critical role in the understanding, monitoring, reporting and as such execution of financial risk management for the Group.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished treasury professional to work closely with the broader team in delivering best in class modelling and reporting to a broad range of internal and external partners, specifically in relation to stress test exercises.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior colleagues in addition to the full Group balance sheet.
As a Treasury Assistant Manager your accountabilities will include:
- Delivery of stress testing modelling in QRM and reporting for the Group and its entities. Including, but not limited to, balance sheet and income modelling as well as management information and analysis to support with the understanding and decision making associated with risk exposures in stress testing
- Support with the explanation of key drivers behind risk exposures in stress testing to the Finance and Risk partners
- Suggest and support with the continuous development of the models/applications used for stress testing whilst optimally prioritising between inbound change, regulatory change and operational improvement
- Maintain collaborative relationships with Risk and Finance partners to support the delivery of quality and timely reporting in stress tests
- Responsible for handling and implementing robust processes to support team objectives including reporting, controls and management information
- Act with attention to detail and control to minimise operational risks via robust control frameworks underpinning processes whilst escalating and providing visibility to known risk
- Continuously challenge existing process to identify operational improvements to enable time for value adding activity and qualitative review

What you'll need- Ideally have a financial/ Treasury background with an understanding of stress testing and experience using QRM.
- A broad understanding of Treasury related financial risks and be able to interpret complex datasets whilst communicating with a clear understanding to different audiences and their team
- A highly motivated individual within a planning and forecasting environment and an analytical mindset, who consistently achieves results even under tough circumstances.
- A good understanding of Excel functionality and capabilities to proactively review, challenge and streamline existing models or build new modelling capability.
