A well-known, ‘Good’ primary school based in Brent, NW9, are in need of SEN teaching assistant withs a demonstratable history of supporting pupils with Complex Needs to join them on a full-time basis ASAP.

Job Description

This SEN teaching assistant role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support to a number of pupils with PMLD. The successful special needs teaching assistant will need to collaborate with the class teacher and therapists to implement personalised learning programs.

As a Primary Special needs teaching assistant, you will be expected to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported and you will be instrumental developing pupils social, communication, and behavioural skills.

Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
