Job Description
  • Manage and perform internal audits across various departments
  • Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
  • Develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on audit processes and policies
  • Collaborate with external auditors as necessary
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions
  • Report to and advise management on the company's financial status and compliance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance or a relevant field
  • Proven experience in the Insurance industry or financial services
  • Proven experience within Internal or External Audit
  • Strong knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques and test and sampling methods
  • Ability to the hit the ground running

  • A competitive salary range of approximately £70,000 - £77,000 plus annual bonus
  • Hybrid working environment with 2 days onsite per week (depending on business requirements)
