Policy and Service Responsibility. You will work within Trust policy and guidelines at all times, and update as needed. With the team, ensure all care needs are met promptly and safely. Resources. You will be responsible for checking equipment is suitable and safe prior to use, reporting any issues.
You must take a responsible attitude towards consumables, utilising stock appropriately and effectively, reporting any shortages. Self Management. You are responsible for creating a career plan by reflection and participation in an annual achievement review.
You will take opportunities to learn from senior staff, and attend relevant and mandatory training. You will be encouraged to take an active part in ward meetings Patient Care.Assist patients with personal hygiene including care of mouth, nails, hair and shaving.
Assist with prevention and management of pressure sores, recording skin condition accurately. Assist patients with elimination requirements including catheter care. Assist with mobility following physiotherapy plan. Complete documentation as required and report issues or deterioration in your patient.
