Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyse customer needs will be essential in ensuring a positive experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong phone etiquette and the ability to upsell products or services when appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Ability to handle phone calls with professionalism and proper etiquette
- Help customers register online and process their orders.
- Prioritising and processing customer orders and requests submitted by telephone, email, and live chat.
- Liaise with our ‘bricks and mortar’ stores to process online orders smoothly
- Investigate errors and resolve complaints quickly and patiently.
- Liaise with customers who have received their orders late, or have received incorrect items.
- Resolve issues, to the customers satisfaction, arising from product faults or damage incurred during transportation.
- Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure. Applicants will be expected to pass an FCA rules compliance program.
- Learn how to use database systems and technology to deliver great customer care
- Liaise with company suppliers to gather information where feedback to customers is necessary.
- Check product availability for customer orders and order or restock items if necessary to satisfy the customers orders
- Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse information and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in data entry with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £20,043.00-£23,795.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:
- Leyland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Phone etiquette: 1 year (preferred)
- Data entry: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
