MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

• UP TO £50k HOURLY EQUIVALENT + HOLIDAY PAY
• NEAR DIDCOT
• HYBRID - ASAP START DATE
• 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT

Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a fantastic organisation near Didcot that are looking for a full-time Management Accountant to join the team ASAP for a 3 month assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts.
• Manage month-end processes, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, and bank accounts.
• Conduct detailed analysis of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Assist with year-end procedures and audits.
• Prepare core grant claims.
• Oversee cash management and forecasting.
• Handle VAT returns and engage with R&D tax credits and corporation tax matters.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls.
• Actively participate in the finance team, embodying a customer-focused, knowledgeable, collaborative, reliable, and flexible ethos.
• Manage a team of two direct reports.

Requirements:

• Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)/QUAL OR QBE with relevant management accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel with a solid understanding of SAP OR (preferably) SAP By Design.
• Experience with government funding.
• Need to start by 24th March 2025.
