Salary:Up to £60,000 dependent on skills and experience o_p>

What you’ll be doing: o_p>- Lead and manage a small, dedicated team of software developers, setting clear goals and objectives. o_p>
- Promoting best practices and continuous improvement. o_p>
- Regular stakeholder engagement, setting priorities and ensuring projects are delivered to plan. o_p>
- Actively participating in software development from planning, design, through to delivery into programmes. o_p>
- Provide coaching and identify opportunities within the team for learning to our apprentices coming in through our BAE Systems apprentice scheme. o_p>

Your skills and experiences: o_p>Essential: o_p>
- Experience leading and managing a team of Software Developers o_p>
- Proven experience working with Software Programming Languages (Java or C#) and object orientated analysis and design experience and or certification o_p>
- Understanding of software development methodologies o_p>
- Product Lifecycle management (PLM) experience o_p>

Desirable: o_p>- PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcentre experience o_p>

The PLM Digital Development Team: o_p>
Our PLM Digital development team develops software capability into our current Global Combat Ship (GCS) programme and future programmes. o_p>
You will draw on your experience to actively develop capability, provide leadership and direction, and work alongside peers to meet or exceed our strategic objectives. o_p>
This role will primarily be focused on the configuration and development of our PLM solution and the integration into a global enterprise maintaining an end-to-end global digital thread. o_p>
