• Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Supporting children’s self-help needs.
• Being creative and enthusiastic.
• Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

Your Apprenticeship will last for 14 months. You will be supported by Lead Support Coaches throughout your Apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. You will be working full time in the nursery. Your classroom days will be based online as a remote session which you will need to be fully available for, and your main childcare apprenticeship work will be done in a nursery local to you.

You will Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2 and be living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order to be eligible.

Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for : Continuous development in current nursery setting, * Room Leader positions, management etc
