Job Title: Support Worker

Salary: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome bonus*
Annual Salary: £25,729.60 - £28,059.20 per year for a 40 hour week

Hours: 40 hours per week (part-time hours available, minimum 24hrs per week)

Job Description: As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our client’s residents. You will provide personalised care and support to individuals with a range of needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Your empathy, patience, and dedication will be key in helping our client’s residents lead fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Encourage and support residents to participate in social and recreational activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents.
  • Uphold the values and standards of our client

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate and caring nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care are advantageous.
