We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out vehicle services and repairs adhering to brand technical standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering first-class customer service.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Perform vehicle services and repairs in line with brand technical standards and dealership processes.
• Engage directly with customers when appropriate to discuss service details and vehicle issues.
• Provide mentorship and support to less experienced colleagues within the workshop.
• Participate in regular training to maintain and update technical skills.
• Contribute as a full member of the workshop and dealership teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Wear protective clothing and use equipment as supplied by the Company when necessary.
• Handle waste products and hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
• Be willing to undertake additional tasks as required, ensuring they are within the scope of your skills and abilities.

Essential:

• Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Desirable:

• Proven track record of individual excellence.
• Previous vehicle knowledge and proven skills.
• MOT qualification.
• Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
• Experience in a franchise dealership.
• Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.
