The Strawbury Duck in Bolton are recruiting for an Apprentice Commis Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality qualifications which will take approximately 20 months to complete.
Duties:- Prepping for lunch
- Getting salad station Prepped up
- Producing meals from fresh
- Using a variety of kitchen equipment
- Assisting the team to a high standard of service
- Adhering to Health and Safety Regs
- Adhering to allergens
- Catering for all individual dietary requirements
- Cleaning down after service
- Labelling food and ensuing its wrapped correctly
- A good team player
- Keen and willing to learn
- Hard work
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- A good listener
- Observant
- Willing to learn new cooking techniques
Grades: There are no formal qualifications required.
Hours: Between the hours of 10:30am - 9:30pm, 30 minutes paid lunch, 35 hours per week across 5 days
