Salary: £85 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you experienced in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive changes in students? We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a secondary school in Oldham. This role involves supporting students with behavioural challenges and creating a supportive environment for them to thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support for students with behavioural needs.
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging situations in the classroom.
- Work with teachers to implement behaviour intervention plans.
- Promote emotional resilience and support students' social and emotional well-being.
- Maintain records of student progress and contribute to regular reviews.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour.
- A proactive and flexible approach to managing challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
