Booking Clerk
Location: Royal Bolton Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Minerva Road, Bolton, BL4 0JR
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with the occasional Saturday which is paid at an enhanced Saturday rate

Role type: Temporary role for 3 months with possibility of extension
What you'll be responsible for:
- Contact patients ahead of or after their appointments so as to understand DNA themes.
- Generate reports for the Divisional Management team to show outputs of work and impact on productivity.
- Liaise with both the administrative and clinical staff to ensure that if a problem arises it is resolved quickly and smoothly.
- Utilise e-RS to review patient contact details and to contact patients awaiting first appointment to understand if appointment is still required.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- NHS System Knowledge
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
