About the Role: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will have the responsibility of guiding our students through a crucial year in their educational journey. You will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that help them reach their full potential, while preparing them for SATs and the exciting next step in their learning.You will work within a dedicated team, focused on providing an enriching and supportive environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Support and guide Year 6 students through SATs preparation, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents.
- Foster strong relationships with students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Year 6 or primary education is highly desirable.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their academic and personal growth.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, especially in Year 6.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Creative, flexible, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
