We are looking for Business Analysts to join our thriving community of practise here at DWP Digital. We have 9 open vacancies across a range of our multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
  • Technology Services - responsible for designing, delivering and operating environments to enable reliable and secure digital customer journeys
  • Hybrid Cloud Services - delivering the hosting that underpins all DWP's digital services
  • DWP Maternity Allowance modernisation team - providing a more simple and efficient service for Maternity Allowance customers.
  • Digital Retirement - responsible for running and transforming our Digital Retirement Services.
  • The GOV.UK team - responsible for corporate publishing and signposting.

You will work alongside User Researchers, Developers and QAs and have opportunity to develop your management and coaching skills. You will build strong and sound relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You'll lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively translate research data into detailed requirements to help deliver value and great outcomes for our users.

A key part of the role will be to work collaboratively with our Product Owners to agree roadmap priorities, feed into delivery plans, new features and products as well as contributing towards prioritisation activities.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
  • Significant experience of working as a Business Analyst and evidence of carrying out a wide range of analysis activities
  • Experience in identifying and building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to identify improvements and make recommendations for business improvement processes

Location: We have 9 vacancies available across Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester Newcastle or Sheffield. You'll join us in whichever of our digital hubs is most convenient for you.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £45,081.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £13,000 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
