Job Description

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain financial records and enter data into accounting systems.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Ensure bank statements align with internal records.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with journal entries and financial close processes.
  • Expense Reporting: Verify and process employee claims.
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports and audits.
  • Administrative Support: Handle finance queries and provide general assistance.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful for the Accounts Assistant position, you must:

  • Diploma/degree in accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years in a similar role (entry-level options available).
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software, detail-oriented, strong communication, and time management skills.
