Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

• Establishing and leading the UK legal function as the first hire in the country.
• Managing and advising on a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, compliance, and employment law.
• Collaborating closely with legal teams in Ireland and the US to align strategies and ensure global compliance.
• Providing strategic legal advice to senior management and key business stakeholders.
• Leading on any UK-specific regulatory or legal developments affecting the business.

The Successful Applicant

The Legal Counsel should be:

• A qualified solicitor or equivalent with 4+ years' PQE in commercial or in-house legal roles.
• Strong experience in managing legal functions, ideally in a multinational or complex environment.
• Skilled in providing strategic legal advice across a wide range of areas.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and within cross-border teams.
