Finance Manager | University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
You will be expected to work in a way that facilitates collaborative partnerships to achieve the Trust’s strategic vision. The successful candidate will be expected to make an active contribution to the running of the finance function, generating service improvement ideas and deputising as and when required for the Head of Finance.
You will be a strong communicator and will be able to work with non-finance staff to present complex financial information in ways which will ensure engagement and understanding.
The post holder will provide comprehensive financial leadership and management to the Women’s Health and Children and Young People Divisions.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality financial information in the form of monthly management accounts, including forecasts and efficiency reporting. It is expected that the post holder will work closely with colleagues within and outside of the divisions to incorporate non-financial information to provide further insight and assist the management team in providing the best value care for our patients.
The post holder will provide high level support and challenge to divisional colleagues to assist them in developing their services. This will include supporting colleagues in business case development and negotiations with external partners and commissioners.
The post holder will be a senior member of the UCLH finance team and expected to contribute to department wide improvement plans, including developing the Trust’s costing methodologies to better understand the productivity of the division.
The post holder will manage two members of staff and be responsible for their development and performance.
