Support Worker with Psychology Band 3

As such, we are now recruiting for Band 3 Support Workers who hold a BPS accredited Psychology degree qualification working with children with severe learning disability and autism. This is a Locum role and will require assisting in the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the provision of care of children, with a severe learning disability and associated challenging behaviour and medical needs within various Children’s locations.
Due to the nature of this post you will be required to be in possession of a satisfactory enhanced Access NI disclosure and Fit to Work certificate, which Direct Medics will supply for you free of charge. Salary starting from £13.08 per hour for the first 12 weeks and increasing to £13.60 per hour thereafter!
Requirements
Degree in Psychology or equivalent (BPS Accredited)
Have at least 1 year or more paid experience in supporting children with learning difficulties & challenging behaviour.
NISSC Registration
Full Current UK Driving License
Right to Work in the UK

PBS Training
Safety Intervention Training (However this can be supplied through Direct Medics own Trainers if required)
