Service Manager - Band 8a
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Barts Centre for Reproductive Health which provides primary and tertiary care to fertility patients in NEL.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that services are efficiently and effectively run at the St Bartholomew’s site. This will be achieved through excellent human resources, financial and operational management.
**As part of the interview, there will be a test on 27th October 2024 and interviews will be held on 1st November 2024**

The Service Manager is responsible to the General Manager for the operational delivery of all aspects of the fertility unit at St Bartholomew’s Hospital to ensure that:
All referrals are booked according to the Trust Patient Access Policy.
Clinics and theatre resources are maximally utilised and ensuring a good patient experience.
Understanding of CCG’s and funding elements to ensure patients are placed on the correct patient pathwaywhich is safe and adheres to Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) and Trust guidelines.
Timely, efficient and effective operational service management support is provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
To ensure that ways of working reflect and deliver key policy guidance and performance indicators i.e.- Patient Access policy
- 18 week targets
- Diagnostic – ensure all diagnostic are booked promptly
- Theatre utilisation
