Job Duties:
- Provide individualised and group tutoring sessions in secondary level mathematics
- Create engaging lesson plans and materials tailored to students' needs
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in mathematics
Required Qualifications:
- Experience teaching secondary level mathematics
- Demonstrated SEN experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in secondary level mathematics
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, temporary position
- Work in a school setting with students aged 11-16
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
