This school is looking for an individual to join the team as soon as possible in their reception class. This Bristol - based school has a car park and is located along a public bus route.

Your new role

This Bristol primary school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join the team for a 2-term assignment over terms 5 and 6, working 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to the Reception class pupils and fostering their development in a supportive and engaging manner.

• Planning and delivering creative and effective lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and development.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of each child.
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
