We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores & Logistics Coordinator. As a Stores & Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

The Stores, Logistics, and Shipping coordinator is responsible for managing the storage, logistics, and shipping functions to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials and products. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Safety is in all that we do here at JBT, it is important that this person adheres to safety protocols and regulations at all times, especially when operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

The Opportunity ... : The main aspects of our Stores & Logistics Coordinator -
  • Inventory Management – which involves inventory records, conducting daily cycle counts and stock audits. Monitoring stock levels and ensure the proper storage of materials
  • Logistics Coordination - Work with suppliers and transport companies for all shipment aspects. Optimise logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Shipping Operations: Prepare and process shipping documentations, package delivery items and track shipments, including resolving any issues that arise during transit.
What we’re looking for in a Stores & Logistics Coordinator -
  • A minimum of 3 High school GCSEs or equivalent required.
  • Additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are preferred, but not essential.
  • Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping operations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Pay: £12.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
  • 4 Day week 0600-1600 Monday to Thursday
