Full time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 + company bonus scheme + 27 days holiday (+ bank holidays + birthday off)Working: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Hybrid Role - 3 days from home and 2 days in our Leeds Head Office!
We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in F,P&A reporting, month end close, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll
Tasks Include:
- F,P&A reporting including maintainting accurate P&L
- Reconciling the bank on a daily basis
- Month end close duties including the posting of accruals and prepayment journals, GL reconciliations and analysis
- Managing the complete Accounts Receivable process, ensuring strong client relationshpis are maintained and effectively minimising outstanding trade debtor balances
- Overseeing the entire process of Accounts Payable management ensuring that supplier payments are promptly initiated and included in the weekly payment run when due for payment
- Developing and nurturing a strong connection with the HR department and group payroll provider. Handling monthly payroll processing, as well as efficiently managing employee timesheets and expense records
- Processing VAT returns and submission to HMRC
You will have:
- Two years' experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Dynamics 365 and Excel
- Part qualified in ACCA / CIMA
- Experience with month end journal posting
- Some cash flow experience
- Payroll experience is beneficial
