About Our Client

The role will involve leading internal research projects aimed at expanding the drug pipeline, exclusively looking at neurodegenerative disease. You would also be supervising and coordinating activities for student / internship placements.

Job Description

As a Senior / Principal Scientist based in Oxford you will:

• Leading internal research projects aimed at expanding the organisations drug pipeline
• Plan and carry out a series of experiments relating to early discovery
• Supervise and coordinate activities for student / internship placements as required, ensuring projects stay on track.

The role is aimed at Senior / Principal level currently.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful you will have:

• PhD in Neuroscience or equivalent experience
• First-hand experience of working in drug discovery aimed at neuroscience / CNS, preferably working in neurodegenerative disease
• Experience managing projects and coordinating activities across team members
