Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement
• Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Geography or related field
• Experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level

Education:

• Degree in Geography or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience:

• Teaching Geography at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Geography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Ability to motivate and inspire students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience in teaching Geography at the A-Level

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours
• Regular classroom setting in a secondary school
• Potential involvement in extracurricular activities or school events
