Our company Specialises in the manufacturing and installation of purpose made Exhibition Stands and Retail Displays.
Our Workshop is based in Hartwell NN7, but installations take place throughout the country.
This is a full time PAYE position and is subject to an hourly wage, not a salary. The hourly rate would be agreed with the interviewee. The estimated figure is based on a minimum 40hour week and increases with overtime.
Plenty of overtime available evenings and weekends "Not your normal 9 to 5 job"
There is out of hours and weekend work that will be expected due to the installation windows we are given on various sites which increases earning potential.If you want easy low paid work there's no need to apply there's plenty of factory's out there, if you want excellent earning potential and a path to develop further skills whilst working in a fast-paced challenging environment with an likeminded team then this is for you.
We are looking for a Production Manager to bring leadership to the manufacturing team.
Duties:- Focus on manufacturing output, upholding quality processes, Health & Safety, housekeeping, production planning.
- Organising shifts and labour availability.
- Employee engagement in the manufacturing team and develop a “great place to work” culture.
- Lead and manage production.
- Oversee the handling and processing of all work, ensuring it meets the required standards and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and work closely with the Project Managers.
- Ensure packages arriving at the Workshop are processed correctly and communicated.
- Liaising with Chargehands and Project Managers to resolve any issues.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, reporting risks and updates as needed to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and weekly meetings with the team to track progress, offer guidance, and address any challenges.
- Ensure team is trained on technical systems and processes, overseeing workloads to optimise efficiency.
- Production Manager experience, but not essential.
- Attention to detail.
- Working under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
