Cleaner

Location: Stella House, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Working hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 4pm to 7pm

Please note, this area is not well-serviced by public transport after 7pm.

Salary: £11.77 per hour

Contract: Permanent, part time

Your new role:

What you’ll do:

  • Cleaning and disinfect every day all work surfaces and floors and paintwork in the designated areas
  • Dusting, vacuuming and mopping general flooring throughout the site
  • Carrying out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the school
  • Ensuring that the facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures
  • Reporting all accidents and incidents as appropriate

About you:

  • General experience of cleaning
  • Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises
  • Awareness of COSHH regulations
  • Takes initiative and works reliably
