As a Hospitality and Bar Assistant at Sodexo at ATR Winchester, Winchester, SO22 6NQ. You're a real people person with excellent communication skills, Mainly customer facing, You'll interact with our Armed forces personnel every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet.

What you’ll do:

• To ensure adherence to the liquor licencing laws
• Provide a professional service of all wines, spirits, beers and other associated products to the customers using the service ensuring accurate measures and waiting time for customers should be kept to a minimum.
• Ensure the bar operation meets the requirements of the Client, as directed by the Mess Manager, and is in line with Company Quality Procedures. Take responsibility for all stock, cash and chits during shifts ensuring they are controlled at all times. Quality Procedures appertaining to security must be followed and also those referring to administrational and cash handling procedures.
• Complete consolidation sheets at the end of each shift, identifying cash and chit totals. The Mess Manager/Bar Manager must be made aware before the next shift if there is a discrepancy.
• Follow the cleaning rota to ensure all bar/cellar furnishings and fittings are kept up to standard with adherence to COSHH guidelines and safe methods of work at all times.
• Clear all dirty glasses, crockery and cutlery, etc. promptly from the bar and associated areas including the patio.
• Set up dining areas ready for service, functions and meetings.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
• Serve and replenish food from counters and break down stations at the end of meal periods
• Interact with customers in the serving, retail, and dining areas

What you bring:

• Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
• Basic food-handling skills
• No previous experience required
