Property Maintenance and Carpentry - assessor/trainer - Cambridge

The Property Maintenance and Carpentry trainer/assessor will be responsible for:
- Conduct regular progress reviews, providing feedback to learners and employers.
- Support learners in developing their portfolios and preparing for end-point assessments (EPA).
- Work closely with employers to identify suitable tasks and training opportunities.
- Ensure the tracking and documentation of learner progress meets quality assurance requirements.
- Deliver targeted training to support learner's wider life skills development.
- Promote the college's values and ensure compliance with awarding body practices.
The Property Maintenance and Carpentry trainer/assessor will need to have:
- A relevant level 3 vocational qualification
- A Level 3 TAQA qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towards.
- Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance (desirable)
- Relevant carpentry or property maintenance qualification and industry experience.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for training and mentoring learners.
- Understanding of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessments.
