Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Holmfirth, Kirklees)

Tradewind Recruitment Agency are looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) with a solid background in the UK primary education system. We are seeking an adaptable TA to work across all year groups at a primary school based in Holmfirth. This full-time role requires flexibility to accommodate the ever-changing needs of the school, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

As a TA, you will be expected to provide high-quality support across various year groups, from Early Years to Year 6.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with lesson delivery
• Supporting individual and group learning
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour.
• Being proactive in adapting to different classroom environments
• Being capable of working closely with teachers to enhance the educational experience of the pupils.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a TA in a primary school within the UK, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and a proven ability to support learning in a variety of settings. You must be reliable, committed, and passionate about making a positive impact on children's education.

This role will initially be through our agency, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
