DescriptionNew Opportunity Interesting and varied role
Manage diverse investigation cases covering Domestic and Commercial Property, Motor, Casualty, and Niche Products. Partner with clients to conduct thorough enquiries, report outcomes, and provide evidence-based policy action recommendations. Handle settlement negotiations for valid claims and liaise with police for fraud prosecutions.
What will your day look like:Undertake a range of investigations in an ethical & professional manner, employing best practice & key investigative competencies, which comprise:
Technical KnowledgeInvestigative Planning & Preparation
Interviewing & Statement Taking
Evidence Identification, Gathering, Analysis & Presentation
Reporting & Correspondence Proficiency
Conduct professional investigations using best practices.Validate claims within DSI's structured process.
Support development of DSI staff.
Maintain contacts with external investigative bodies.
Ensure accurate time recording and adherence to fee rates.
Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Promote DSI's profile within the company and marketplace.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Investigative experience and counter-fraud qualification preferred.Insurance industry knowledge advantageous.
Strong communication skills and team player.
Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of civil and statutory law.
Ability to handle sensitive material and commit to professional study.
High ethical standards and neutral judgment.
Clean driving license.
